In today’s society, the world is comprised of 1.2 billion young people from the age of 15-24, approximately 16% of the global population. Although this is a huge number, unfortunately these young people are almost 3 times more likely to be unemployed than the rest of the work force and generally have a hard time transitioning into the world’s global work economy.

The Artificial Intelligence is a big topic these days, and more so with several dystopian scenarios where machines take over everything and we are erased as living beings, or in the best scenario they decide to keep us as pets.

On the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, we talk about the possibilities that ICT can bring to societies and economies. Maja Karabeg, Co-Founder at AP, reflected on the importance of ICT in her life.
