Authority Partners, one of the leading software development companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathered IT community together at the sixth Global Azure Bootcamp (GAB). The event was held on April 21, 2018 at Authority Partners Lab – Talent and Innovation Center.

For the first time in the history of GAB, BiH has its own event and has become one of the 75 countries that have already hosted over 200 events this year.

Over 30 IT professionals took part in the event. Magnus Mårtensson, one of the founding fathers of GAB, Founder/CEO of Loftysoft, Microsoft Regional Director and a Microsoft Azure Most Valuable Professional, opened the event with a keynote speech.

Magnus, our GAB star, is a consultant, tutor, process coach, technical lead and an international speaker. Some of his passions include connecting with audiences and organizing online and global conferences such as CloudBurst and Global Azure Bootcamp. As the first Azure MVP in Nordic countries in 2012 he was awarded MVP of the year. He is also an Azure Advisor and an ASP.NET Insider and is the go-to person for Microsoft, regarding Enterprise Cloud Consulting. He has been a long-time consultant and has extensive experience consulting on the Azure Platform.

The participants had the opportunity to share their experience with three other Microsoft MVPs. Jasmin Azemović, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, gave a lecture about Database in Azure. Jasmin is active in the fields of database management, information security, data privacy and forensic database analysis. He is the author of numerous scientific-research papers and three books. Mustafa Toroman, AP System Engineer, demonstrated DevOps Process in Azure. With years of experience in ICT, he has over 30 MS certificates and has held MCT for the past 6 years. Can Bilgi, AP Program Architect, who has decades of experience in Microsoft technologies, provided insight into development of Xamarin Mobile Apps with Cloud Services. Also, Magnus, shared his experience with Azure Resource Manager Model.
