“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.”

Robert Swan, the first man in history to walk to both the North and South Poles.

Watching the recent raging wildfires in Turkey had disquieted and deeply moved all of us in the Authority Partners family, as it did to the rest of the world. Bearing in mind that each and every tree dissolved in the fire meant a particle of precious nature belonging to all of us on Planet Earth dissolved to ashes too, we immediately decided that it is now and here that we have to take action.

Our team researched the best yet the quickest ways to help immediately, and this is when we stumbled upon a famous TAMA Foundation. This 900.000 volunteers’ rich organization from Turkey is protecting all of the natural resources as far in the past as 1992. More precisely, ever since the UN brought in the concept of nature protection and sustainability at its conference in Rio De Janeiro 30 years ago. At the time, two prominent Turkish businessmen, Hayrettin Karaca and A. Nihat Gökyiğit decided to transfer these concepts, which were still very new on the international scene at the time, to Turkey and organize nature conservation, to which they dedicate their lives. The fight against erosion and desertification began to be an issue that required urgent intervention in Turkey. For this reason, these two nature lovers opened the sensitivity of the issue to other fellow business leaders and established the Turkish Foundation to Combat Erosion, Afforestation, and Preservation of Natural Resources on September 11, 1992.

Thus, AP Family joined its own forces, 450+ consultants appreciating nature and devoted to creating excellence in the world we live in. We then collected and donated 2040 tree saplings to the fire strike area in Turkey. We deeply believe this was our obligation, not just to donate to TAMA and their persistent long-term battle against the erosions, but to actively participate in the remediation of forests in Turkey through the trustworthy and knowledgeable channel.

Planting a tree is one of the most beautiful and noble gestures, and it is the best way to help restore the vital ecosystem we all depend on. We hope our trees will grow high and strong and will inspire you to take your part in helping to save the green Earth.
