A Decade of Supporting the Bosana Foundation

As we navigate the professional road, we often focus on the destination. But the journey itself is just as is important as the destination. It is where we learn and grow, where we discover new passions and talents, where we build relationships and find meaning. As a result, the road we travel can profoundly affect our lives.

For some, this road is a comfortable drive on a highway, a clear path with plenty of opportunities to take a turn when desired. For others, the road is less predictable, full of unexpected twists and turns, with mountains to climb and valleys to cross.

Bosana Foundation is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California, that envisions a community in which no one is abused, poor, illiterate, or marginalized; where members of communities have full and equal participation in the processes that ensure their health, well-being, and economic independence; and where everyone has the freedom to define the scope of their life and their future and to achieve their full potential. Our envisions are aligned, and being a socially responsible company is one of our core values; that is why we started with supporting Bosana Foundation in 2012, and we have been an ongoing supporter ever since.

The Bosana Foundation provides marginalized youth with access to educational and professional development opportunities and income-generating programs to improve their quality of life and make it easier for them to unlock their full potential. Therefore, moving youth from poverty and predicament to stability and self-sufficiency promotes viable civil societies.

Here is what Senita Slipac-Kalamujic, the Founder of the Bosana Foundation, had to share with us: “Bosana has had the privilege to be one of the organizations Authority Partners has chosen as their charity of choice over the past decade to deliver on their commitment to social responsibility.

Authority Partners’ financial support has helped us fully transform almost 30 lives of underprivileged youth in B&H by giving them access to college education and professional development opportunities. Equally important is their commitment to our growth as an organization that they have shown by also supporting our fundraising events, support for our volunteer staff and offering hours of mentoring to our students.

Bosana is mostly run on private and individual donations and having the commitment and “stamp of approval” from a company like AP means a lot to us. This has also resulted in additional financial and collaborative opportunities through your networks. Congratulations on your new milestones AP! May you thrive and inspire others what great companies can do for their employees and community at large.”
