July-at-AP-Lab

July has been a busy and fruitful month at our Authority Partners (AP) Lab:

High school students join Cloud Masters program:

From June 30th to July 8th four high school students who were awarded with an internship position at AP Lab took part in the Cloud Masters program. The initiative was organized in cooperation with the Civil Society Promotion Center, and provided the students a valuable opportunity to create web applications alongside other Cloud Masters, experience real IT environment, compete against deadlines, and work according to SCRUM.

IoT Explorers session:

July 6th marked the start of the 4th IoT Explorers program session which is intended for individuals who are passionate about the Internet of Things and exploring new technologies. Hence, five talented interns are currently working on their IoT project which they will be pitching in front of a panel of experts on July 29th.

Open Day:

With the announcement of the call for applications for the upcoming Cloud Masters program session planned to take place from August 15 – November 4, 2016, we organized an Open Day at AP Lab on July 13th. At the event, participants had the chance to learn more about the programs offered at AP Lab and network with AP Lab mentors and interns.

But it’s not all about work and technology at AP Lab…

In July we celebrated interns’ birthdays and personal successes, as well as indulge in team-building activities – from playing card and board games to river rafting.
